Everton’s 10-point deduction has been the biggest story to emerge from the Premier League over the international break and Man United legend Gary Neville is not happy about the whole situation. 

The Toffees were punished for breaking the league’s financial rules and were handed the biggest punishment ever dished out as a result, which many in the football community deem very unfair.

This comes amid Man City and Chelsea also being under investigation for financial rules breaches and Man United legend Gary Neville is not happy with the current state of the league, which includes the power the Big Six clubs have.

The Sky Sports pundit believes the trust in the league has evaporated and that the greed of the big clubs have turned them into bullies as they want to control the upper spots of the table and are happy to throw others under the bus to achieve it.

Speaking on the latest episode of Stick To Football, Neville has stated that he’d be furious if he was an Everton fan and that the Premier League are scared of Man City.

“The trust and faith has gone completely (in the Premier League),” the Man United legend said on the show.

“The greed and selfishness is out of control it’s lawless. The Premier League is a defunct organisation.

“I’d be furious if I was an Everton fan. I’d feel like it is an absolute disgrace what you’ve done to my club. Big Six, they’re bullies.

With 115 charges hanging over their head, Neville believes that the Premier League are “frightened to death of Manchester City” and is evidently not happy about their situation either.

Gary Neville has criticised Arsenal Football Club again after they backed Mikel Arteta after his passionate rant against the PGMOL on Saturday.

The Spaniard was furious after Newcastle were awarded a goal against his side which he deemed to be ’embarrassing’ and Bruno Guimaraes avoided a red card for a strike on Jorginho’s head.

The following day, Arsenal Football Club released a statement backing their manager, labelling the incidents as ‘yet more unacceptable refereeing and VAR errors’.

A lot of pundits have delivered varying opinions in the aftermath of the incident, including Neville who has been very vocal about his disagreement with the statement.

The former Manchester United player spoke out again on Sky Sport on Monday, labelling Arsenal’s statement and Liverpool’s previous one as ‘dangerous’.

‘I thought the statement was really poor,’ Neville said on Sky Sports via the Daily Mail.

‘A day after when Liverpool wrote statement with the suggestion of replay, I thought to be fair that was quite dangerous. The Arsenal statement is also quite dangerous.

‘All clubs signed a new behavioural charter and I’m not saying referees shouldn’t be put under pressure but clubs themselves should definitely behave better in these circumstances.

‘I’m looking at the Premier League and leadership in the Premier League, the reality of it is they have to start protecting referees, I was in favour of the transparency at the beginning of it.’

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has expressed his doubt about whether the club really needed to spend such big money on the signings of Mason Mount and Antony under current manager Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils invested huge sums of money on bringing in Brazilian winger Antony from Ten Hag’s former club Ajax last year, while Mount joined from Chelsea this summer, and Neville has quite clearly questioned them in an interview with Webby and O’Neil.
