Former Premier League star Mario Balotelli was involved in a car accident in Brescia and it is reported that the footballer walked away from the accident with difficulty. 

The striker has often appeared in the media for the wrong reasons and it looks like this is another story to add to his collection.

According to a local Italian police official, Balotelli refused to take a breathalyser test in the aftermath of the crash and it is believed that the Italian walked away from the accident with great difficulty, reports El Partidazo de COPE.

The former Man City star was thankfully not seriously injured as more details will likely be released involving his crash soon.

Mario Balotelli has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s remarks about him in a brutal way. 

Mario Balotelli is known to be a super talented player who never fulfilled his potential due to his behavioral and disciplinary issues.

And Zlatan relayed the same thing during an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport. He said:

“Balotelli? He had so many opportunities to take advantage of his talent and change his future. He never did, that’s the truth.

“There are so many who want to have only one chance, he has missed all the opportunities he has had.”

Balotelli has now responded to the Swede’s comments on Instagram by posting a story of himself with the Champions League trophy, a trophy that Zlatan has not won.

He tagged Ibrahimovic on the story and added three hearts with the post.

Micah Richards has narrated a hilarious story about how he called the Fiorentina manager a d***head because of Mario Balotelli. 

Richards joined Fiorentina on loan in 2014 after falling out of favour under then manager Manuel Pellegrini.

And upon his arrival to the Italian side, he asked his former teammate Mario Balotelli for advice on how to greet people in Italian.

That decision backfired, meanwhile, as Richards explained how he swore at then-Fiorentina boss Montella.

Speaking on the latest episode of the The Rest is Football podcast, Richards narrated how he sought Balotelli’s advice on Italian greetings when joining Fiorentina.

However, the phrase Balotelli suggested, “testa di cazzo,” turned out to mean “you f****g d****head.”

Richards unknowingly used it when greeting the then Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella.

Fortunately, Montella took it in good humor and laughed it off.

Erling Haaland has taken the world by storm this year and his scoring feats have continued to make headlines around the world but perhaps some of these should be afforded to Mario Balotelli.

Speaking on BT Sport, the Italian reacted to a video of the 22-year-old as a youngster wearing a Manchester City with the former Liverpool forward’s name on his back and said: “It’s good, it’s good. He learnt good!”.

It’s fair to say that the Norwegian has come on quite a bit since this clip of him in his formative years but he clearly did look up to the enigmatic 32-year-old.

It was quite an uncharacteristically understated reaction from the forward who seemed almost embarrassed to see that he’s been a role model to a world star.

Mario Balotelli scored an incredible rabona goal yesterday in Turkey after bamboozling a defender with a crazy amount of stepovers. 

The former Man City star now plays his football in Turkey with Adana Demirspor after joining the club this season. Adana were playing their final game of the season against Goztepe and went on to win 7-0 and finish 9th in the Turkish league – with Balotelli scoring four of the goals.

This is typical of Mario Balotelli, who was always a player ready to put on a show and with one game to go in his season, the Italian decided to pull back the curtain for Atana fans.

Balotelli spent the majority of his Manchester City career involved in controversy, and it seems he hasn’t slowed down since leaving the club.

Whilst in Manchester, Balotelli let off fireworks in his own bathroom, for absolutely no reason.

Facial tattoos are often deemed controversial in the real world, due to job prospects. Balotelli has earnt enough in his life where he doesn’t have to worry about working in the real world.

Former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli could reportedly be heading back to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old, currently with Turkish side Adana Demirspor, is supposedly being pursued by big-spending Newcastle United as they look to strengthen up front this January.

Balotelli could be a decent signing for the Magpies, even if he never ended up being the player he looked like he could become when he was a youngster.

The former Italy international remains a superb natural talent, and he’s long been known for being a real character both on and off the pitch, so it would be great entertainment to see him back in England.

Balotelli first made a name for himself at Inter Milan, but his Premier League career started with a move to Man City back in 2010.

Super Mario couldn’t build on a promising start at the Etihad Stadium, and later returned to Italy with AC Milan before surprisingly flopping in his second spell in England with Liverpool.

The eccentric forward has moved around a lot since then, and now Newcastle seem keen to lure him to St James’ Park.

Adana Demirspor’s president Murat Sancak has confirmed: “Newcastle was considering signing Balotelli, but so far they have not made an official offer.

“There is an exit clause in his contract. But I cannot reveal the amount of that clause.”

Balotelli was certainly a bit of a character, and not always in a good way, so this is a fairly sensible take from the young Foden.

Now 21 years of age and a full England international, Foden has risen up through City’s academy to become one of their best players in Pep Guardiola’s first-team.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has recalled the time he wanted to “kill” former Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli.

The Red Devils had just been beaten by Man City in the FA Cup semi-final in 2011, and Ferdinand was not at all happy with the way Balotelli conducted himself at the end of the game.

Not too long after Mikel Arteta took over the managerial hot-seat at Arsenal, he decided to make an example of Matteo Guendouzi because of his conduct.

The young Frenchman was involved in a flashpoint with Brighton and Hove Albion’s Neal Maupay, and things were never the same for him at the Gunners thereafter.

One can’t blame the Spaniard for taking such a hard line attitude, and given how well Arsenal are doing now – after a tough period – it can’t be said that the north Londoners are missing Guendouzi.

His loan move to Marseille comes to an end shortly but Guendouzi already knows what his next move will be.

According to RMC Sport cited by the Mirror, the 22-year-old has no desire to return to the Premier League and wants to continue at Marseille.

As long as fees aren’t an issue for the French club, there really isn’t a downside to the deal whatsoever, with the Gunners more than covered in the position.

The player himself might do well to reflect on his behaviour whilst at the north London club, and ensure there’s no repeat.

There are plenty of examples of talented players with a darker side – eg Mario Balotelli – that could’ve done so much more with their careers had they not let their tempers and attitude get the better of them.
