David Moyes could have a serious problem if he doesn’t start getting new players through the door for West Ham, as another star could be on his way out of the club and off to Serie A.

Gianluca Scamacca is understood to want to go back home to Italy as soon as possible, and reliable journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has tweeted that the player is likely to be heading to Champions League runners-up, Inter Milan.

Inter next bid for Gianluca Scamacca will be in the region of €25m and it will could include add-ons, agreement expected to be reached in the next days with West Ham ???

Unfortunately for the former Sassuolo man, things never really worked out for him in east London.

Injuries, a loss of form and David Moyes not really playing a system that enhanced Scamacca’s natural game were all contributory factors.

Nikola Vlasic is another signing that has never really done the business for the Hammers, and the Croatian even spent last season on loan at Torino.

It’s believed that the player wanted to return to the Serie A outfit on a permanent deal but, as of now, no agreement is in place.

That might be about to change, however, if the information that Daily Express journalist, Ryan Taylor, has is proved correct.

If Torino are indeed willing to raise their bid for the 25-year-old to an acceptable level, though it would leave Moyes light in terms of bodies on the ground, it would at least give the Scot some more money to play with in the transfer market.

The Hammers do still have £100m+ to spend from the Declan Rice sale, and it’s time they started bringing in some much-needed reinforcements.

Things are seemingly going from bad to worse for David Moyes at West Ham.

Not only has the Scot not been able to sign any players during the current transfer window, but more than one appears to want to leave the east London outfit.

It hints at things not being too great behind the scenes, and this may partly be to do with the employment of Tim Steidten as the club’s new technical director.

Coming in above Moyes was always likely to rattle a few cages and it’s unclear just how good or bad the relationship is at present, though one can infer by the lack of transfer activity that it’s unlikely to be great.

One player who has made his own position crystal clear is out of favour star, Nicola Vlasic.

Serie A side, Torino, are believed to want to buy the 25-year-old Croatian, however, Vlasic believes that the Hammers aren’t even entertaining the prospect of a negotiation for his services.

‘I’m fed up with this dead-end situation. We all know, you first, that I’m not considered an important player here, I’m just one of many in the reserve group,” he said to TuttoSport (subscription required).

“I returned to London respecting the call-up with great fairness and I am training every day with the utmost professionalism, but this cannot be the solution.

“I’ve been telling you for two months that I want to play for Turin, that I no longer want to stay at West Ham under these conditions, on the sidelines.

“And also, that my own family never wants to go back to live in England. And also, that I’m not interested in evaluating other market hypotheses, if ever there were.’

‘Your behaviour is incomprehensible. I know that Torino has already offered you €9m for a long time, an important figure, respectful of my value and your needs.

“But you don’t intend to negotiate with Torino, you repeat that it’s not enough, but you still don’t communicate to the Italian club what the right figure is, in your opinion. I’m worried: I will continue training with great seriousness, but it cannot go on like this.”

It’s quite the outburst and hardly likely to do him any favours.

From West Ham’s own perspective, they can’t really countenance having players in the dressing room that are likely to upset the equilibrium.

If a deal can be reached quickly, that’s surely the best for all parties.

Nikola Vlasic has reportedly informed West Ham United manager David Moyes that he wants to leave.

The 25-year-old hasn’t made much of an impact at the London Stadium, and spent last season out on loan at Torino, though he’s now back with the Hammers.

Still, reports claim Vlasic has made his intentions clear to Moyes, telling the Scottish tactician that he wants out of the club this summer.

Vlasic clearly looks a poor signing with hindsight, and so it must now be time to give up on this deal and move the player on.

It will now be interesting to see if anyone comes in for the Croatia international, who didn’t exactly set the world alight on loan at Torino either.

Now that Declan Rice has left West Ham and the east Londoners have an idea of how much money they have to play with in the summer transfer window, it’s time to get to work.

David Sullivan and David Moyes have a little under four weeks to try and bring in some reinforcements, as they look to progress on from winning the Europa Conference League final and securing Premier League safety last year.

It isn’t clear at this stage just how Financial Fair Play is going to interfere with Moyes’ spending plans, but at the very least they have to replace their former captain, even if they’re unable to do much else in this window.

Sales are a potential way for them to get salaries off the books and also raise some money that can be immediately reinvested.

According to The Athletic (subscription required), one player has told David Moyes that he wishes to leave the club, and with only one goal scored in 31 appearances (per The Athletic), it’s difficult to imagine that the club will stand in his way.

Nikola Vlasic, who cost the east Londoners £25.7million in August 2021 from CSKA Moscow, has been a complete flop.

Despite having an option to buy him after he’d spent a season on loan there, Serie A’s Torino apparently didn’t contact West Ham during the required period, and as such the agreed €13m/£11.1m option is no longer in effect.

Given the Hammers don’t have room for Vlasic in any event, it’s time to cut their losses.

It could be quite the summer for West Ham owner, David Sullivan, as he looks to improve the east Londoners whilst losing players destined for moves elsewhere.

Notwithstanding the upcoming Europa Conference League final which would be a real boon for Sullivan and the club should they beat Fiorentina, it’s been an awful 2022/23 campaign for the Hammers.

So much so that captain and talisman, Declan Rice, is almost certain to leave the London Stadium for pastures new once the final match of the season against Leicester City is done and dusted.

He’s unlikely to be the only departure from the club, with one player virtually demanding that he be sold to a particular buyer.

According to Tuttosport, Nikola Vlasic, who joined Serie A outfit Torino a year ago with a €13m option to buy, is going to ‘put pressure’ on the east Londoners to sell him to them.

There appears to be a stumbling block in terms of the valuation, however, with the Italian outfit seemingly not willing to pay the asking price.

The outlet suggest that they will make a ‘first assault’ on the Hammers to get them to sell for €8m. In the likely event that such a fee isn’t acceptable, there is room for negotiation should Sullivan be minded to get involved.

The issue at hand is that the deal that was struck initially runs out on June 10, so both sides need to get around the table quickly if this one is going to get over the line.

West Ham United could be set to welcome Nicola Vlasic back to London in just two weeks’ time.

That’s according to recent reports in the Italian media which claim Torino are still undecided over whether or not to sign the Croatian on a permanent deal worth just £11m.

Originally signed from CSKA Moscow in 2021 for around £30m, Vlasic, 25, struggled to become part of David Moyes’ preferred matchday starting 11.

West Ham forward Nikola Vlasic, currently on loan at Torino, is seemingly expected to return to the London Stadium this summer.

The Croatia international flopped with West Ham last season and was subsequently sent on loan to Serie A for this term, though he’s not done much better in Italy either.

Torino director of football Davide Vagnati seems to have hinted he’s not yet decided which players will be kept on and which ones will leave, which suggests Vlasic hasn’t quite done enough to impress.

He said: “We have an idea of who to redeem, but these last few games will surely give us some answers.”

£27million attacker set for West Ham return this summer

Nikola Vlasic looks set for a return to West Ham this summer after spending the season on loan with Italian side Torino.

The Croatian star had a promising start to life in Italy scoring three times on the trot in August and September, however, the net has been hard to come by in the time since.

Across 28 appearances this campaign, Vlasic has scored four goals and assisted a further four, but the Hammers board believe it is unlikely the Italian outfit will take up the permanent option on the Croatian’s contract, reports Claret and Hugh.

Moyes bought Vlasic for around £27m and the attacking midfielder had few chances to impress at the London Stadium and eventually, the club were pleased to take up the loan offer last summer from the Serie A side.

With Moyes’ future in question ahead of next season, there could be another shot for the Croatia international with the London club should he return and it would be up to the player whether he wants to stay with the Premier League outfit for the new campaign.
